A MAN WITH PRIDE

A multicolored poster made by N. Andreakos, dominated by the leading actor, Nikos Kourkoulos. His name is registered on the poster’s upper side, on the left: “Nikos Kourkoulos”, and below it a smaller picture is set, depicting a man holding a young, unconscious woman in his arms. The greatest part of the poster, on the left and at bottom, is taken up by the title of the film, which can be read in big, yellow, capital letters in the poster’s dark, uniform background. On the right, sidelong, the artist’s signature can be discerned, in small, white letters: “N. Andreakos”.
A poster that stands out thanks to the sensational portrait of Nikos Kourkoulos. As half of his face lies in the shadow while the other half is illuminated by bright, white lights, it seems as if good and evil are fighting upon this very face. The sincerity of the face is apparent on the picture. The small depiction on the left completes the narration, preparing the audience for a dramatic adventure, while the title explains the man’s portrait: "A man with pride". N. Andreakos, using realism and intense chromatic contrast, illustrates the film’s dramatic ambience, remaining loyal to the style and tradition he has adopted.
